We see it all the time, especially with sleeping animals.  They will move or verbalize in sequence with active dreaming during the REM phase.  Humans take it to another level, talking gibberish, sleepwalking, etc.  In rare cases, some can obtain a full aerobic workout and a good night's sleep simultaneously -- what a time savings!
