Boardom


There comes a time in the life of every offspring to step out of the mold and carve a path of his or her own.  To seize the day and strike-out in a new direction, test the proverbial waters, allow the apple to roll a little farther from the tree, break free from conformity, from family traditions and customs, and shock the establishment.

Savvy Avy


Back in the day, we didn't have a lot of cash to buy a fancy set of snow shovels.  In fact, after hooking-up with the beacon, probe, and avalanche shovel -- the budget was pretty much shot.  Life was good if the shovel was only used for liberating the jeep from a snowbank, creating a good stash for that 6-pack, carving a smooth path to the outhouse, burying the dog deposits until springtime, etc.

Triple Threat


The brass section missed their flight and will arrive tomorrow, and the keyboard player is stuck in traffic.  But the show must go on, and the audience won't stand for excuses.  So Liam says, "I got your back."  Two encores later and everyone wondered whether he even needed the accompaniment.
