Dogging It

Next year's American Dog Derby will see a brand new entry in the team event.  Popularly known as the Fearsome Fourlegs, they have taken the racing world by storm this season.  Starting-out as long-shots, the 'Vegas line now has them at even odds to take the trophy in February.  They have transitioned easily from complete obscurity as Klondike search-and-rescue gurus to world class competitive mushers in the blink of an eye.  When confronted by the stunned and inquisitive press corps about how they managed to easily slip into high-stakes, intense, adrenaline-fueled competition, team members at first looked at each other with quizzical glances.  Finally, one of them managed to exclaim, "we just wanted to take a break this year."

Party Time
